On Saturday i was at the Friendship Concert, by Ghulam Ali and Jagjit Singh. The setting was awesome, cool summer breeze coupled with the lovely ghazals of these legends and the crowd asking for more.
Must've been heavenly... I've this unfulfilled wish to hear him sing chupke chupke in an unhurried manner when a silent and cold breeze runs through the city. Pata nahi kyon... par aisa hai. :-)

I have never been to a Hindustani classical concert till now..
surprisingly there is a great deal of talk in the media about the mark knofler trip and just a small mention in some corner about this concert..
I will keep a lookout for the next one..
