I woke up on the 1st of October with the not soo great yahoo feeling. suddenly i decided that i am going to take off on Friday 3rd of October. While applying for leave, i noticed it has been 5 months since i took leave. Am i getting to be a workaholic...????

4 days at home sounded bliss and the much needed break. Took my own time to wake up on Thursday, after wishing the father of the nation, A Happy Birthday, i jumped on the next bus to Mysore. It was a lovely sight, all along the route, the lush green fields, the warm sunlight and loads of people. Festivities in air, a smile on the lips made the 3 hour journey a memorable one.

Mysore, after a gap of nearly 4 years was in its entire regal, royal splendor. The Palaces and monuments beautifully decorated, the well-manicured gardens with flowers of varied colors and designs, the whole city had the majestic touch, the eagerness dancing in everyone's eyes.

The four days just flew by, but i had my share of sleep and ample time to finish all the readings, just finished reading "A year by the Sea", a good one...but am still in awe of The Alchemist...

Back at work, it does sound and feel boring, but a peak outside and the rains do the magic to get back to good old mood to just enjoy each day as it comes :)
