Ramadan (check the archive) the month of mercy is coming to an end. The feeling during this entire month is totally rejuvenate. The feelings of serenity, charity, sensibility, control of sense come in abundance during this month. Not only are u restricting yourself from food, but all the evil and devilish thoughts and actions. To think of it, its practiced by every Muslim with the same fervor and gaiety. All are equal in the eyes of the Almighty. Extra prayers, extra charity, extra smile and not to mention extra food. It is a time of worship and contemplation. A time to strengthen family and community ties.
The holy month ends with celebration, on the first day of the 10th Lunar month of the Islamic calendar, the day is Called Eid-Ul-Fitr...The day when the faithful get together to pray and start the year afresh. Preparation for the festival begin right from day one of Ramadan, there is a certain delight in this festival which is absent from other occasions.
I am taking off for a week from today, will be away from blogging, hopefully the next month should see me back with rebounded and renewed energy. Till then Eid Mubarak to all of us, May Almighty bless us all and may peace prevail in this world. Ameen!
With my thinking cap on 24/7. On my way to grow wiser and richer in wisdom and experience.
